US Youth Soccer TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community-based training and team placement program for young athletes with disabilities, organized by youth soccer association volunteers.
TOPSoccer sessions are scheduled at a time and location at which there are limited distractions. Players may play with or without a Buddy in a low-competitive setting. Soccer is a great sport, which can be adapted or modified to accomodate almost any player's situation.
WYSA TOPSoccer Program was founded in the Summer of 2011. We had a wonderful first season with lots of fun had by all the athletes, buddies, coaches, siblings, and parents. Each season, a few more players join our program, while many of our players and buddies return each season. This allows our community to grow a little stronger and closer with each passing year. It is great to see the athletes learn new skills, but the real joy is just allowing the kids to play soccer and have fun. TOPSoccer is often the highlight of our week during the summer!
